The Los Angeles Angels have dismissed manager Kurt Suzuki following a 62-100 season, marking the franchise’s first 100-loss year. Suzuki, in his inaugural managerial role, has been offered a position as a special assistant. This decision aligns with broader organizational changes, including the earlier firing of General Manager Perry Minasian and pitching coach Mike Maddux. The Angels now hold the longest active streak in MLB with 11 consecutive losing seasons and 12 years without a playoff appearance. This move also reflects the ongoing acquisition process by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, expected to finalize next year.
